Spectator tickets

Configure ticket types, bundles, coupons, sales, scanning, and exports.

Who can use this: Event managers. Available actions can vary with the event's enabled features and your assigned role.

Open this page

  1. Sign in as an event manager.
  2. Select Events, choose the event, then select Edit event.
  3. Select Ticket Types. If it is absent, enable Spectator tickets in Settings first.

Ticketing covers ticket types, bundles, coupons, online sales, complimentary tickets, scanning, printing, and exports.

Setup

  1. Connect the event's payment processor.
  2. Enable Spectator tickets and online purchases in Edit event → Settings.
  3. Open Edit event → Ticket Types and create each admission option with an accurate name, price, availability, and quantity rules.
  4. Add bundles or coupons only after their component ticket types are final.
  5. Complete a real-world test purchase and verify the confirmation and tickets.

Event entry

Open Tickets → Scan on authorized ticket-taker devices. Scan one ticket at a time and read the result before admitting the guest. A previously used, invalid, or wrong-event ticket should be resolved by a manager rather than overridden informally.

Use complimentary tickets for authorized no-charge admission. Export the ticket list before the event as an operational backup, and reconcile sales and scans after entry closes.
