Frictionless Registration: Pre-Reg, Waivers, and QR Check-In
Registration is where an owner gets the first real feel for your show. A confusing form or a surprise rule at checkout tells them the rest of the day may be just as messy.
Keep the form short, explain the classes, and make sure somebody can fix a mistake without calling three people. Test the odd cases too: a changed car, a bad payment, a missing email, or somebody who picked the wrong class. That's where a registration process proves whether it actually works.
Choose software by testing exceptions
The happy path is easy to demonstrate. Before choosing or opening a registration system, test a changed vehicle, duplicate email, failed payment, class correction, refund, walk-up registration, lost confirmation, and poor connection. Confirm the system can export records in a usable format and that staff can correct mistakes without sharing an all-powerful account.
Where the software fits
Driven To Show supports configurable registration fields, self-registration, approval rules, payments, parking selection, attendee numbers, dashcards, CSV import, and staff check-in. Organizers should test the exact path entrants will use before publishing it.
