Story

We purchased our 1930 Lasalle, March 2019. Our restoration journey was/has been one of learning, trial/error, and challenges, but most of all it has been a journey of priceless memories we made together.

We found her via an internet search, not knowing anything about Lasalle's, often referred to as a "poor man's cadillac." The daunting task of acquiring parts soon became real, unlike Ford, these parts are extremely hard to find, and very expensive when you can find. This restoration journey has been amazing, we have not only learned more about the brand and it's history, but have also made new friends in the process. Together, Gary & I have been able to bring her timeless beauty back after a 6 year restoration project, finishing her March 2025. Our, rags to riches Cinerella story.

June 2025, we attended the CLC Grand National in Murfreesboro, TN. We were so overwhelmed by the comments, which truly made the 6 year journey worth every bit of the blood, sweat, tears, frustration and everything else that comes along with it. Much to our surprise, we placed 1st in restoration and also people's choice. We have been blessed to have been in the 2021 and 2025 CLC Calendar, the front cover of the Self-Starter magazine which included an article Angie wrote in July 2025. Lastly, during our restoration journey our car was in several editions of Salle Speaks magazine for LaSalle owners.
