Story
Unless you are interested in the import car scene, not many people know what this car is. Imports are what got me into vehicles, and this car has been one of my favorite cars for a long time.
My parents found this car in the middle of no-where, Eastern Montana, in a heated and cooled garage; a true barn find. The couple that owned this car at the time bought it brand new in 1991 in California and absolutely loved it, it was truly ahead of its time.
At some points they had a little too much fun with the car. They damaged underneath the passenger door from jumping the car on a golf course. Oh, to have that kind of money.
After seeing the great condition of this car, my parents bought me this car for my 18th birthday present. I immediately knew what car it was, even with the car cover on it, I was immediately in love. I had talked about this car for years with my dad. The rich history of this car has always been my favorite.
This car provideded my first piece of mechanical knowledge of vehicles. I had to do a lot of maintence and fix a lot of things to keep the old girl on the road. Some of the worst was learning how to take a transmission more times than I would like to admit. I got to do some fun things too though, like lowering the car and adding every teenagers favorite thing, 2 big subwoofers in the trunk.
This car is now just my old reliable cruiser that I still love just as much as the day I got her. I have a lot of plans for it in the future, but we all know money and time always seem to be the limiting factor with that.
