Story

This meticulously restored 1967 Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe is a stunning tribute to the iconic Super Sport. Originally equipped with a 283 and bench seats, this car underwent a complete 3-year-frame-off restoration.

The body was meticulously restored, including the replacement of key components like the trunk pan, taillight panel, and quarter panels. It was then painted in striking Eastwood Carbon Metallic paint. A comprehensive overhaul included replacing all suspension bushings and installing new glass, bumpers, headliner, carpet, and reupholstered seats.

Powering this beauty is a potent Dart Special High Performance (SHP) 427 Small Block, which was blueprinted and meticulously built by Markovich Racing in Warminster, PA. This powerhouse features Brodix "Wild Thing"™ cylinder heads, a COMP Cams Xtreme Energy camshaft, and Mahle PowerPak pistons.

The drivetrain is equally impressive. A modified 700R4 automatic transmission with a high-stall torque converter, built by J.G. Transmissions in Willow Grove, PA., ensures smooth and rapid shifts. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 9-inch rear end with a limited slip differential and 3.70:1 gears supplied by 9NINEWRIGHT in Mount Aetna, PA.

Stopping power is provided by a Wilwood front disc brake system with auxiliary vacuum power assist. The fuel system has been upgraded with a Holley 850 high-flow Quick Fuel carburetor, and a 3-inch exhaust system with electric cutouts unleashes the engine's thunderous roar!
