Story
I've owned my 1958 VW Beetle for 28 years, and it still puts a smile on my face.
It's still in its original Diamond Gray, with the original interior, engine, and 6-volt electrical system. Best of all, it still has all its German parts, something I've always wanted to preserve.
It's far from perfect. It has its flaws, shows its age, and that's just fine with me. I've never wanted a show car, just an honest old Beetle that still looks and feels the way it did back in 1958.
After 28 years together, I guess you could say we've both gotten a little older.
It's not perfect, but it's perfect for me.
