Story
Since I was 14 I wanted an E21. This would have been back in 1983. Had a customer bring one in to the gas station I worked at in Wash DC and fell in love with it. In the years since I have had an E30 and E46, but always dreamed of the E21. 40+ years later I found this one owner E21 in South Dakota. The original owner had purchased the vehicle in West Germany new when he was stationed as a US servicman and had it shipped back when his tour was over. I flew to South Dakota and drove it back home (1200 miles, over 2 days) I have spent the past 2+ years restoring it. It is not a garage vehicle I drive it often! I have made the trek twice to the Klassic. My wife now owns an E12 that we caravan to shows together.
