Meet THE YETI, a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 that has been completely transformed from a stock pickup into a one-of-a-kind custom build. From its aggressive stance and custom lighting to its cammed V8 and upgraded interior, nearly every part of this truck has been touched with one goal in mind: to stand out from the crowd.

Starting with the suspension, THE YETI sits high on a 9-inch McGaughys lift kit, paired with powder-coated Kryptonite upper control arms, custom powder-coated shock towers, coil springs, and leaf springs. Giving it its aggressive stance are 20-inch RockTrix simulated beadlock wheels wrapped in massive 37-inch tires. AMP Research power running boards make climbing into this lifted beast a little easier.

Under the hood, the 4.8L LS V8 is far from stock. At the heart of the build is a Texas Speed TSP 224R camshaft, giving THE YETI its unmistakable chop. Supporting upgrades include ARP head bolts, NGK 2238 spark plugs, HMI spark plug wires, LS1 rocker arms with upgraded trunnions, and a Melling Select high-volume, high-pressure oil pump. Tuned to run on 89-octane fuel, the engine breathes through American Racing long-tube headers and a Corsa cat-back exhaust system, delivering an aggressive sound that matches its appearance.

When it comes to lighting, THE YETI takes things to another level. The exterior features 12 pure-white 144-chip LED rock lights and 16 additional 36-chip LED pods, illuminating the truck from underneath. But what really sets this build apart is the 2,200 individual starlights installed throughout the fender wells, creating a unique lighting display around all four corners. Paint-to-match illuminated LED switchback door handles add another custom touch while keeping the exterior looking clean.

Inside, the factory headliner has been replaced with luxurious black suede, featuring 1,500 individually installed fiber-optic starlights that transform the cabin into a night sky. An Alpine head unit brings modern technology with Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM, and AM/FM radio, while an upgraded JL Audio sound system, complete with a 10-inch under-seat subwoofer, delivers powerful, clean audio without sacrificing interior space.

And if the cammed V8 isn’t enough to announce its presence, THE YETI is equipped with a HornBlasters Mini Outlaw train horn system, installed with a spare tire delete setup. A Viper security system helps protect the truck and everything that’s been invested into it.
