"Marj"

This vehicle was purchased in 1981 from Ferrari of Los Gatos by a woman and her husband, who were initially in the market for a sailboat, but upon seeing the car immediately changed their minds. Coming from the factory as a black-on-black Series V GT Competition, a frame-off restoration was completed in the early 2000's, with the owner choosing the current color scheme. Her name was Marjorie, and she loved the car with everything she had, keeping every maintenance record back to 1981 and many original adverts and other materials. She passed away last year, and the car fell to me, now nicknamed "Marj" in memoriam. Her picture and other curiosities accompany the car to exhibitions. The car is driven regularly, and has turned over the odometer twice, having been driven across the country several times, most recently last year. The mechanical equipment from engine to brakes is extremely close to original, and kept as close as possible to the original engineering.
