Story

Purchased as a non-runner in 2005 from a client who had parked it in his back yard after buying a 1995 BMW M3. I began to restore the car mechanically as time permitted, including a complete engine rebuild, driveline refresh and suspension and brake refresh. Interior was removed for cleaning and mold remediation, and the cracked dash was replaced at the same time. All mechanical and electrical items that were not up to par were replaced when it was taken apart. The goal was to have a fun driver quality car that I would not be afraid to drive anywhere, and a little bit of patina wouldn't be a deal breaker, neither would it prevent my wife and I from enjoying the car. The car had been repainted prior to my ownership, and I had the entire car color sanded and ceramic coated to make it stand out, an it gets a lot of attention at local shows. It has been driven to Highlands multiple times and displayed at the Highlands Motoring Festival, and has placed twice at the Southeast Sharkfest concours, winning the Clean category and placing second in the Super Clean category.
