The 1966 Corvette with the L72 engine was a high performance, big block V8 offering incredible power, with a 427 cubic-inch displacement, advertised at 425 or 450 hp, but often underestimated in this actual output. Praised for strong acceleration, impressive performance metrics like a 12.8 second quarter mile, and a tight responsive feel, despite it's heavy front end, this combination was considered a top tier, desirable, and high value Corvette option.
Original California car with rich documented owner history (current ninth owner) dating back to the original owner. The second owner was known to frequent Mulholland Drive for spirited cruises in the late 60s. The current owner enjoys, cruising in this beautiful Corvette around the Augusta Georgia area.
