Story

Owned since Sept 2020, I had to trade 2 Volvos to get this fully restored 1961 PV544 from Joe Kazcyk in Port Townsend, WA.  It took about 6 months of talking and negotiating to do the deal.  He wanted my Duett and I was enamored with this beautiful Volvo.  It actually required me to trade 2 volvos to get this one.  In addition to the 1961 Duett, I had a 1959 PV445 that had been converted into a pickup  which was typical in Sweden as they needed work trucks on the farms especially.

The one stage enamel paint is just gorgeous!  It is stunning and restored with all Volvo & OE parts.  The dual SU carbs propel the car nicely and handles wonderfully in the turns and up to 65 mph.  The engine is not the original but boasts a larger B20 which gives it a little more power.

There is a custom roof rack which gives it a nice touch.
