About

Frame-off Restomod featuring the Art Deco paint scheme taken from a 1931 Cord Roadster at the Auburn-Cord-Deusenberg Museum in Auburn, IN. Restoration took 7 years, most of which was done at facilities outside the view of my VW friends who jokingly applied the nickname "Phantom Ghia" since most had never seen the car. While the chassis and body sport some customization, the engine is a stock 1500cc engine, true to the model year with exception of the 1-2-3 distributor and electronic ignition.

Paint and Body Work by Georgia Mountain Customs of Jasper, GA. Custom leather interior and convertible top using the same colors as the 1931 Cord installed by Top Stitch Upholstery of Ball Ground, GA. Electrical and major reassembly by Jeff Patterson (Type4 Revoluton). Engine rebuilt by ProFlow Performance.
