1. Who We Are
Driven To Show (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software for
car show organizers and participants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share,
and protect personal information when you use our websites, software, APIs, and related
services.
2. Scope and Roles
We process data for our own operations and, in many cases, on behalf of event organizers who
use the platform. Event organizers may also maintain their own privacy terms and practices for
their events, and those independent practices are their responsibility.
3. Information We Collect
- Account and profile data: name, email address, phone number, ZIP/postal code, organization
information, role/access level, sign-in details, and account preference settings.
- Event and registration data: event details, schedules, locations, attendee and vehicle
details, custom registration form responses, group assignments, approvals, check-in/check-out
status, awards, and scoring/voting data.
- Ticketing and payment data: ticket selections, ticket status, invoice/payment status,
transaction/charge identifiers, and billing contact information. Payment card entry is
processed by payment processors and full card numbers are not stored by us as full PAN data.
- Communications data: emails sent for registration, invoices, tickets, account access, and
other service notices; message metadata; and email delivery/open/click tracking where used.
- Technical and usage data: IP-derived request information, browser/device data, logs,
analytics events, and cookie/session/cart token data used to run and secure the Service.
- Anti-abuse and integrity data: captcha verification results, device fingerprint values for
certain ballot workflows, and location data when location-based ballot eligibility is enabled
by an event organizer.
- Media uploads: attendee, vehicle, and event images plus related file metadata and storage
references.
4. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you register, sign in, buy tickets, submit forms, or contact us.
- From organizers and staff using the platform to manage events and participants.
- Automatically through platform operation, including logs, cookies/tokens, analytics, and
security tooling.
- From integrated third parties (for example payment processors, captcha verification, and
email infrastructure).
5. How We Use Information
- Provide, secure, maintain, and improve event operations and platform functionality.
- Process registrations, attendee workflows, judging/voting, tickets, invoices, and payments.
- Operate uploads, media storage, and related display workflows.
- Send transactional communications (confirmations, receipts, access links, and notices).
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Enforce agreements, troubleshoot issues, and provide support.
- Comply with legal obligations and lawful requests.
6. How We Share Information
- Service providers: infrastructure, hosting/storage, analytics, communications, and payment
vendors that support the Service under applicable contractual obligations.
- Event operators and participants: data may be shared with relevant organizers, staff, judges,
ticketing/check-in personnel, and participants as needed to run event workflows.
- Legal and compliance: to comply with law, legal process, or to protect rights, property,
and safety.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets,
subject to ongoing protection obligations.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar mechanisms for session/authentication handling, cart and workflow
state, security controls, and analytics functionality. Browser/device settings and available
opt-out tools may limit certain tracking technologies, but parts of the Service may not function
properly if key cookies are disabled.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal
obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support security or fraud prevention.
Retention periods vary by record type and operational need. We may also de-identify or aggregate
data for analytics and service improvement.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal
data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
If you access the Service from outside the country where our infrastructure is operated, your
data may be processed in other jurisdictions. Our current safeguards are primarily technical and
operational, including transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS), secure session controls, and
region-configured infrastructure for key storage services. We do not currently offer
customer-selectable data residency options.
11. Your Choices and Rights
- Account controls: you may update profile/account information through the Service where
available.
- Email preferences: you may manage non-transactional communication preferences; transactional
emails needed for service operations may still be sent.
- Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion,
or limits on certain processing. We may verify identity before completing requests.
12. Children’s Data
Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data
from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us to
request deletion.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may include links or integrations to third-party services and websites. Their
independent terms and privacy practices govern those services.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will
provide notice through the Service or by other appropriate means. Continued use after changes
take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
15. Contact

16. Additional Disclosures
This Privacy Policy describes platform-level practices and is for informational purposes. It is
not legal advice. You should consult your legal counsel regarding compliance requirements that
apply to your organization or event operations.
