Who can use this: Event managers. Available actions can vary with the event's enabled features and your assigned role.
Open this page
- Sign in as an event manager.
- Select Events, then choose the event.
- Select Edit event → Registration Form.
The registration form controls which entrant and vehicle details staff and self-registrations attendees can provide.
Configure the form
- Sign in as a manager and open the event.
- Select Edit event → Registration Form.
- If previous events are linked, select Import Linked Form to load one of their registration forms and vehicle-photo settings into the editor.
- Choose whether self-registrations allows or requires a vehicle photo.
- Add, remove, expand, and reorder fields to match the information your event actually needs.
- Select Open Sample Page to preview the form, or **Open Live self-registrations to test the public workflow.
- Save the form and complete a test registration.
Groups/classes are managed separately under Edit event → Groups / Classes. Whether group selection is required, optional, or hidden from self-registrations is controlled in Settings.
Field options
Fields can use a text input, textarea, dropdown, year selector, or phone-number input. Set a clear label and field name, then use the available section, page, help text, placeholder, default, validation, visibility, and printable-form options. Textareas accept up to 2,000 characters.
The required email, year, make, and model fields have extra protections and cannot be removed. Importing loads a linked form into the editor without saving it, so review it before selecting Save. Use Reset to Default only when you intend to replace the current layout with the standard registration form.
Save safely
An Unsaved changes indicator appears after you change the form and clears after a successful save. If the event already has attendees, saving requires an additional Understood confirmation because changing field names or structure can affect existing registration data.
Good form design
Ask only for information staff will use. Put essential contact and vehicle fields first, explain unusual fields in their labels, and avoid collecting sensitive information in open text fields. Finalize the form before opening registration so early and late entrants provide the same data.
The printable registration form is generated from this configuration. After changing fields, print a fresh copy rather than reusing an older paper form.
